Undergraduates

We occasionally have positions for research assistants. If interested, get in touch via the email button on my Bio page.

Graduate Students

We are always looking for bright and highly motivated Masters and PhD students whose interests align with the research topics of one of my three groups - see Research for STAC (competitiveness), EDS (cohesiveness), and LEAD (education finance policy). Successful applicants are expected to have strong quantitative/analytical skills and an interest in one or more of the following: education finance and resource allocation, equity in education, international comparative research using large-scale data (PIAAC, TALIS, PISA), or cost-effectiveness analysis of education programs and reforms.

Please get in touch via the email button on my Bio page if interested. In your email, please explain your interest and provide 1) a CV, 2) transcripts, and 3) information on relevant projects (e.g., reports, papers) if available. Due to the volume of emails we receive, messages that don’t include this information may not receive a reply.

Postdocs

I have hosted several post-doctoral researchers across my three research groups. For further information on current opportunities, get in touch via the email button on my Bio page.

Note to international students and postdocs

We welcome international applicants. My work involves close collaboration with international scholars and organizations - including the LEAD ISF international workshop, the National Education Finance Academy (NEFA), and the Comparative and International Education Society (CIES) - so international interests and perspectives are especially welcome here.
